On this page, you will find a comprehensive list of registered private colleges in South Africa. This list has been made public by the Department of Higher Education and Training for the Republic of South Africa.

Important to Note
The Register of Private Colleges comprises of two sections. The two sections are A and B.
Section A lists all private colleges whose registration has been cancelled due to failure to maintain their registration and or have requested to be cancelled for reason(s) shared with the Department. Should these private colleges be operating and purporting to be offering Engineering Studies
N1 –N3, (NCV) and (AET) programmes, they are doing so illegally. Students are advised not to enroll or part with money for any of the partqualifications and or programmes cited herein as they will not sit for examinations nor be certificated.
Section B shows, among others, names of registered private colleges, qualifications they are registered for, their NQF (National Qualifications) Levels and sites of delivery.
